Rooted in community

Acadia Hall in the 1950s on Highway 1, now Sackville Drive, in Sackville, NS.

Established in 1924 as the Acadia Community Club Society, our space was built to fulfill Sackville’s need for a place for the community to come together for fundraising, socials, dances, bingos, card parties and other events.

Built with care and carried forward by community spirit, we’re still helping our neighbours make memories and build traditions—more than 100 years later.

Our story through time

Every corner of our grounds holds a memory. Our history is not just in the buildings, but in the generations of families who have celebrated here, volunteered here, and shaped the centre into what it is today.
